Exness vs Tickmill: we favour Exness for its range of pricing structures and documented stable-spread conditions. Tickmill nevertheless has a Raw offer whose commission matters. Our Tickmill sources are UK pages; their prices do not automatically apply to every entity.

Spreads: a reason to examine Exness

Published Standard and Pro Exness minima are below Tickmill Classic’s in the reviewed sources. They make Exness worth examining for commission-free pricing. A minimum is still a catalogue floor, not your symbol’s average spread during your session.

Comparing Classic with Raw without adding Raw commission would mislead. Make separate comparisons for commission-free and commission-based accounts. Record the total for your instrument and size rather than assuming a universal rate.

Raw commission: recognise the possible difference

USD 3 per side at Tickmill gives USD 6 round trip per lot where applicable. An Exness USD 3.50 per-side rate gives USD 7. Tickmill may therefore be better on this component. Actual spread and holding charges are still needed for the full trade cost.

Tickmill specifies the product categories concerned. Do not apply a forex commission to another CFD market without checking specifications. We have not collected live spread or execution data that could rank the brokers across every order.

Swap-free and handling charges

The Tickmill UK Islamic page describes handling charges on selected instruments after specific grace periods. Those periods vary; do not assign one period to the entire catalogue.

At Exness, check instrument, status and any administration charges too. The argument is potential cost reduction for an eligible client, not a permanent promise of fee-free holding.

Advantages, limitations and profiles

Exness: account choice, commission-free accounts and stable-spread documentation. Check actual symbol and holding terms.

Tickmill: a clear Classic/Raw structure and published USD 3 Raw commission per side on the stated categories. Check entity, funding threshold and Islamic-account conditions. If undecided, build matching-duration cost records before choosing.

Why choose Exness to plan your trading costs?

Exness offers several pricing structures within one broker. Standard uses spread-based pricing without a separate trading commission; Raw Spread separates the spread and commission. This range helps match an account to trading frequency and volume. See the Standard and Raw Spread specifications.

Stable spreads on covered instruments help plan entry costs. High-volatility periods are an exception under Exness’s spread policy.

For overnight positions, swap-free status offers a cost benefit on eligible instruments. Check account eligibility and any applicable administrative fees when calculating holding costs.
